Yamaha K-142
Dolby B NR Metal Tape

The Yamaha K-142 is a stereo double cassette deck with Dolby B noise reduction, it was introduced by Yamaha in 1986 and discontinued a year later.

The K-142 is equipped with, tape type selection with support for normal, chrome and metal tapes.

The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the Yamaha K-142 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies.
