The Roberts 80 is a cassette deck, it was introduced by Roberts in 1973 with a recommended retail price of USD $80 and discontinued 3 years later in 1976.
The main 80 features are, tape type selection with support for normal tapes.

1973 TDK introduced a replacement for chromium dioxide and named it Avilyn.
1974 DuPont introduces chromium dioxide (CrO2) cassette tape.
